🎟️ Music on Ice 2026 – Bellinzona’s Unmissable Ice Spectacle

Bellinzona, Switzerland — February 26–28, 2026

Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending the 15th edition of Music on Ice in Bellinzona with a Media Pass, documenting three stunning evenings of world-class figure skating, theatrical storytelling, and live entertainment on the ice.

This year’s show, “MAGIC FAMILY,” transformed the Centro Sportivo di Bellinzona into a vibrant stage where light, music, and athletic artistry converged, offering an immersive experience for fans of sport and performance alike.

📍 Event Overview

Music on Ice has established itself as one of Europe’s most innovative ice shows, blending:

  • World-class figure skating
  • Live music and theatrical segments
  • Visual storytelling and humour

since its inception in 2010.

Over three nights in late February, the show presented a richly choreographed program that captured both power and grace, enhanced by dramatic lighting, music, and narrative moments that engaged the audience from start to finish.

Audience highlights included:

  • Moments of humour woven between artistic segments
  • Strong international cast with varied styles
  • Emotional crowd responses (especially during solos and duets)

📊 Why Music on Ice Matters

Music on Ice continues to stand out because it:

  • Blends sport and entertainment in a way few ice shows do
  • Draws international and local talent
  • Appeals to both skating fans and general audiences

With three nights of performances and a diverse artistic lineup, it showcased why Bellinzona has become a key stop on the European ice show calendar.
